Photography
When I am not on the PC, I can usually be found wondering around with my Camera (a Nikon d70, although I am looking to upgrade to get a Nikon D200 - not sure how well it will work out though, weight wise, as I tend to go a bit overboard and take literally hundreds of shots - last trip to Brighton, I took just over 900 photos, that's not bad for 2 hours!
I guess I just like to photograph things - almost anything from skyscrapers to friends who don't squirm around in front of the camera and pull silly faces. One of the advantages of having a large zoom lens is the ability to sit away some distance from the "action" and take photos - usually very natural photos of people, as I am not in their face taking a photo, and you don't really get that strained grin.
Cycling
When im not around shooting people, or busy at work (shooting people?) I can usually be found making my wheels go around, on my rather expensive racing bike (To those who know about bikes, Iv got a Trek Madone 5.2, with Dura-Ace throughout)
I'm a "member" of a local cycling club - the De Ver Cycling team run out of a shop in Streatham, South London, run by a really nice chappy called Maurice Burton. The difference between this club, and others in London, is the fact that they just take things easy and try to have fun - they don't drop people (i.e. when climbing a hill, they wait at the top for the rest) and they really try to welcome newcomers - to the point where the owner practically told he was going to give me a free team vest because I seem like a nice guy!
